Hey, fellow residents of Paradisa! How many of you know what today is?

Don't worry if you don't have the answer. The holiday is only celebrated in the USA, as far as I know. Today is the 4th of July, otherwise known as Independence Day!

There's a lot of history I could go into about it, but I'll skip all that boring stuff. No matter what differences people might have in how they celebrate today, there's one thing you can always count on: fireworks.

And as it so happens, I still have a box from that wizard school we visited last year.

If you guys want to see the show, it'll be starting around 9 o'clock. If anyone wants to bring some food to share, I will set up a little something up on the roof. Be there, or be square.

I know of 4th of July. I don't celebrate it as I'm from England. But yeah if you can get those fireworks going it'll be a nice change of pace. Nothing was organized during Guy Fawkes's day last year tho, so good luck.

The castle brought us there last August.

It can be. I'm a little surprised it hasn't done anything for the 4th this year though. The Castle likes Earth holidays.

You'd be surprised how many essays we had to write, actually. And they didn't have any Wiz-Tech either.

It wasn't all essays though. There were other types of homework too.

Compared to fireworks, yeah. If you want to look the history up though, there are plenty of books on the subject. [Most of which are rather one-sided, which quite frankly is part of the reason she's less than wild about it. Hearing the same sotry in history class over and over again didn't help either.]

Thousands of men and boys, most of whom were barely trained, let alone prepared to fight, were sent to die in the fields for years, all in the name of liberty. How does their sacrifice mean so little to you?
