[There were water balloons. In the hallway. In. The Hallway.

And the lobby. And...yep. Even the elevator.

Wade really didn't have to think twice about it. She was hot, clad only in shorts and a tank top, and the cool water sloshing around in these buckets was just the way to do it.]

[Beware, residents, because this Slider is on the prowl and she's armed. Anyone she sees will be her target for a water-balloon fight]

[Water balloons. Now this is a good idea.

Grabbing a handful to shove into her otherspace pocket for easy ammo, Dairine stalks the halls with one water balloon in hand. When she sees Wade, she doesn't hesitate to toss it, waiting just until it's about the hit before yelling.]

Think fast!

[Wade turns just in time to have the balloon smack into her, although it bounces off and splashes at her feet. She let's out a squeak of surprise that turns into a grin]

Nice try!

[She lobs one right back and then takes cover against a doorframe]

[Howl has descended from Chimera's tower in the vague hopes of finding cooler temperatures lower to the ground, though it doesn't seem the weather is doing them any favors, in that regard. Clad in shorts and a tee-shirt in deference to the temperatures, he might be nearly unrecognizable at first glance, having had to sacrifice fashion in favor of not melting into a puddle. He hasn't noticed the water balloons yet, though, which means he's utterly unarmed and unprepared when he rounds a corner and runs into Wade]

[ The Doctor has left his frock coat and jumper somewhere, he's sure they'll turn up, but in just his trousers and shirt, with the sleeves rolled up, he's definitely in his 'casual' mode. He's even swapped his trainers for sandals, Time Lord toes on show.

He's noticed the water balloons all right too, and with a smile at the shout he heard, he knows who the culprit is. Coming around the corner, he has to ask, ] Having fun there, Wade?

[At first, her only answer is the 'smack' and 'splash' of a water balloon hitting the wall near him. A warning shot.]

I'm about to.

[She's hefting another one]

[Honestly, she'd been about to throw the balloon when she recognizes who it is, and her eyes go a bit wide]

Howl?

[He looks a little uncertain at her apparent surprise]

Nothing horrifying's just come round the corner behind me, has it?
