Has to have meaning.

It happened before. Not exactly but similar. February 29. February 11. January 25. December 18. December 5.

There are more.

This was different. It was louder. Saw more, heard it. Nothing to say but it was there. Still not a voice.

Troubling.

January 25, lights.

December 18, everything changed.

December 5, they appeared, flying. Dust causing actions.

Oh, yes, I agree with you there. Not very many seemed to notice, but that's hardly surprising.

They notice it happens but don't look for the link. Some do but they don't know why. It's not hidden away; in plain sight but not there enough. A puzzle but not a game, not something to be won.

Right in front of their faces, and yet they're still too blind to see it. Something of this caliber happens and they let it come and go like a novelty item.

I wouldn't call that noticing.

They don't blink, not passing them by without a comment. They see, feel. It's troubling, they hurt. There's a difference. It isn't knowing, it's understanding.

No one understands.

No one bothers to understand. Doesn't do any good to feel it if you don't make an effort.
