[law practice filter]
[She's no stranger to talking to these sorts, considering where she spends most her time, but she's curious!]
Hello. I was wondering if you've had any luck in pursuing your line of work during your stay in Paradisa.
[law enforcement filter]
[She... is more than certain this is a group that has had far more luck in using their talents in this place than the preceding group, so she will pause, tapping her pen for but a moment before writing.]
Is there any need for help covering ground? Not for you, per se, but for the greater good in general.
[Now that those filters are out of the way, she cannot help but muse in the journal.]
This place is the slap to the face for pretty much every skeptic, isn't it?
The impossible happens at every turn, who's about to pinpoint when it's all about to make any sense.
Not that I'm having trouble adjusting, it's just... [There's a pause, and perhaps a sigh, maybe a chuckle under her breath.] Hard to believe that there are a distinct lack of answers.

How is that?

And I don't know. I mean, I'm from Earth, America, Chicago-- but there always seem to be something a little different about everyone's versions of home. [Huff.] Either way, I am alone in regards to my little part of the world.

Virginia. [you're not alone] I spent time in Chicago. A part of me misses it.

[What was one city compared to another, anyway? There were always things to investigate, dirty deeds to be worked through...] It's not so bad. It keeps me busy, all things considered.

... Considering where you are now?
