Well, the same thing that happens where there isn't a magic castle.

The seasons changed on their own.

There are many real world issues that are rare to discuss in Paradisa. The debt crisis, the obesity epidemic, Somali pirates.

Well, I am not surprised at obesity being a problem. The people of the future live on such decadent terms. In my time, only the extremely rich could afford enough food to be fat.

It is the opposite in my time. The wealthy tend to be thinner.

Why?

Because organic, healthy foods cost more money than high-fat, high-sugar junk food. The wealthy also generally have more free time in which to visit gyms and do physical activity.

[Talk about a reversal.]

Sugar is an expensive commodity, and the poor are more likely to be labourers and farmers... I do not understand how it could be the opposite.
