Backdated to this morning

[Xena does wake up where she went to sleep. Instead, she finds herself in the lobby this morning- in a much smaller (and much cuter) form.

Don't mind her, she's just going to be scurrying about, trying to avoid being stepped on and figuring out what exactly she's supposed to do until this wears off. Feel free to harass the hedgehog. Just don't expect her to be happy about it.]

[Here, Xena has an internal debate. On one hand, she doesn't exactly like the idea of being at the mercy of a child. On the other hand, she's going to need a little help if she's stuck at this size and kids do tend to like animals.

There's a long pause and the hedgehog edges out, cautiously.]

[The look on his face brightens when she starts to come out.] That's it. I'm not gunna hurt you, see? [He turns his hand around and places it flat on the floor, palm up so she can crawl into it... at least that's what he's hoping.]

[Yeah, there is no crawling into his hand. Actually, she gives him an "are you nuts?" look in her little hedgehoggy way. But at least she's out, right?]

You don't want to...? [Looks a little disappointed.] Hmm... What about... if you go where you want to go and I'll follow you and make sure nobody steps on you?

[That's...okay, she supposes, but don't you have anything better to do, kid? She gives a little puzzled look and then a small nod (don't ask how that works).]

[Not really! He loves animals. They didn't have any animals around, wild or tame, when he was growing up.] Okay! [He gets to his feet, standing back a little bit.] Where do you want to go?
