[Something dangerous loose in the castle? The logical course of action, for Maine at least, is to hunt it down and beat it into a pulp.

The hunting wasn't so hard, only took him about a day once he realized what was going on. The beating, however? Not so much in his favor. Armor certainly would have helped.]

[There's a grunt as Maine tries to shift up to at least a sitting position, but it's difficult with how sliggish his body has become from the bites.]
