[After talking to Faye (read: after he figured out what Faye was trying to say), Spike inevitably went back to the castle to see for himself. Once he's there he's fully prepared to scoff at this whole thing, of course. He'd planned on checking on the guys in the clinic for a lark, when he stops. Something scuttles by, that he only barely catches in the corner of his eye but feels instantly familiar. Then slowly (very slowly as he stands still in the lobby), something occurs to him. Did he see something familiar back when...? It couldn't be, could it?
... You've never seen someone run so fast. He gets to his room in minutes, and only pauses once he reaches the doorknob. It has to be his imagination, right?]
...
[Five minutes later, he's back out, white as a sheet and cursing nonstop. The journal picks up some of that as he finally thinks to take it out.]
-- Ah. [WHOA, WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT AGAINST HIS LEG? ... Nothing? Okay, wow, calm down. They're still behind the door, and he's picking up his pace. They don't have an airlock to shoot this thing out of, what the hell is--] I know what it is, get out of the castle.
[That's all he says. He needs his hand free to shoot, which he'll be doing right after he gets the fuck away from that room. He'll finish this later.]
OOC: I will have a post up about the specifics very soon (and answer questions there!), but as of this post, the fridge has been opened. Spike closed it again, but not well enough. There are now many more space lobsters coming out... so your characters are now free to be attacked at will!
Also feel free to run into Spike in the hall! Open open.

As soon as he's at the end of the hallway, he's running down the stairs. (Can't take the elevator, too risky!!)]

In any case, he's not so much of a jackass that he doesn't return to this eventually, although he's significantly distracted. (But not down yet!)]

They're ... aliens. [Sort of.] Mutated aliens that are a real pain in the ass to get rid of.

She won't even bother trying to say something to the journal he won't hear or see anyway. Waste of time for both of them. She'll be headed straight out to try to find him.]
