lobster?

[The Master is in his room. He used his TCE on one of the lobster things and is prodding it with the tip of a knife. It appears dead. The Master has his journal open and dictates to it.]

So, my fellow captives. The castle has decided to become infested with something that resembles a lobster. I've managed to shrink one with my tissue compression eliminator. I'm debating between dissecting this thing and simply boiling it for my dinner. Lobster is, after all, quite tasty.

We could learn a lot more about them if you'd dissect it. How to get rid of the infestation, for example.

That would useful, though I'm under the impression that the castle cheats at such things. Sending in pirates, then robbing people of their powers? Tsk. Obviously, the castle enjoys stacking the deck.

How sensible of you. Is stating the obvious a hobby of yours? Really, my dear, I wouldn't want my abode, which sadly this castle is, to be infested with vermin of any kind, much less poisonous ones. I am motivated to stop these things. Just feel fortunate that the Doctor and I are here.

Try the clinic, I know they have the proper tools.

No, they haven't, not officially. Still, until we know more about these creatures, I think it would be foolish to risk infesting a TARDIS. These creatures might tend to gravitate towards each other.

Excellent. I'm glad to see standards are being met in some areas.

[The Master places the dead thing in a glass container and picks up his journal with it still open.]

Control your emotions, my dear lady. I'm heading there now. Has he shown any signs of regenerating?

No. Not yet. He's just unconscious as far as I can tell.

He should be fine, then. We're a resilient race. If he starts to develop frost on his skin, don't be alarmed. It will mean he is in a healing trance.
