lobster?
[The Master is in his room. He used his TCE on one of the lobster things and is prodding it with the tip of a knife. It appears dead. The Master has his journal open and dictates to it.]
So, my fellow captives. The castle has decided to become infested with something that resembles a lobster. I've managed to shrink one with my tissue compression eliminator. I'm debating between dissecting this thing and simply boiling it for my dinner. Lobster is, after all, quite tasty.

Proceed with your scan, please, Dr. Beckett.

She glances around the room. First to Five, then to Sherlock, Carson, and finally to the Master. Indeed, a lot of brilliant minds were here today]

Dr. Beckett, perhaps that scanner of yours could tell us where those venemous glands would be located? Or if not ... I believe you said Dr. House has an extensive amount of other scanning equipment onsite, when you were so kind as to give me that tour...?

[The Master glares right back.]
Yes, Dr. Beckett, what other scans do we have available, please?

There are a few 21st Century Earth devices. Ultrasound and the like. I'm not sure what results my scanner will yeild. It was developed to be used on Anicents and Humans, after all.
It may be worth using one of them if mine doesn't yeild any results.
[The blue terminal in his hand beeps as he moves that wand in his other over the enclosure the creature is in]

Interesting technology. I'm assuming it's activated via certain gene patterns?
[She leans a bit closer to the specimen, not straying far from Five's side]

If you'd like to chat about the inner workings of Dr. Beckett's machine, kindly do it at another time. There are a few other things to be concerned with right now.

Mr. Holmes is right. I'll be happy to explain how it works later.
[He's frowning at the results on his scanner, scribbling down a translation.]
This is like nothing I've seen before. It doesn't match anything that I've seen in a biological sense...
[He pauses.] There's something that might be venom sacs attached to it's teeth, like a snake, but I can't be sure.

Yes, most likely those are venom sacs. Try extracting some of the venom with a syringe, using the scan as a guide. I also want to run some tests at the cellular level.
