Um, e-excuse me. [Anyone who knows Colette might notice that her voice sounds slightly strained, and there's a pause (almost like she notices it too) and she clears her throat]

I saw one of those monsters, it was outside of the laundry room. But, I didn't get a very good look at it before it disappeared... I'm sorry. Whatever it is, it's really fast! It's black, and not very big, but that's all I could tell.

It might still be in this area, so I'm going to keep looking for it... If I see it again I'll be sure to say something right away. [there's a deeeeeep breath before she sets aside the journal for a second. Phew, she doesn't feel good at all, and it was starting to show in her voice again by the end of that announcement. So she'll just sit down for a moment to collect herself. Bluuuh, space lobsters suck]

[oh my god the twisted part of me wants this so bad. If he has any negative feelings about this, he's not showing it. Colette got bit by something that makes people horribly ill and the only description they got for this thing is "small and black". They have such a great start!]

Aw well, I guess we'll just have to check every place a small thing can hide!

Small places... [she looks up at the celling and corners of the hall...] I wonder if it could hide in the shadows...

[He's looking around too, though more down on the ground for any shadowy corners] Is there a light or anything we can use?

[If the hall gets set on fire it will be your fault.]

[He concentrates, holding out his hand as he channels the magic. It takes a few seconds, but sure enough a small ball of fire appears floating above his hand]

[ah! She looks very impressed *^* Sou fancy Zelos... ]

[he grins. Sure is nice not to have Genis around who would probably show him up by making it into shapes or whatever. ]

[~~it's okay no one likes Genis....~~ she walks towards the laundry room, and points up at the divide at the top of the door, and then points her finger along the point where the wall meets the celing]

It looked like it was following this line... [and as she walks down the hallways, still user her finger as an invisible laser pointer tracing the line] And then I lost sight of it as it got farther away from the door.

[~~Poor little squirt~~. He'll follow along, grimacing a little- of course it's all the way up there sheehs]

Okay. Then let's see what we can light up!

[He'll try standing near where she's pointing, standing up on his tip-toes and extending his arm up to try to light it. It's not very effective....]

[but it's still enough to see that there aren't any things up there]

Hm... I guess- do you think it went somewhere else?

Probably. Maybe into another room or some sorta crevice? I don't know.

Maybe. [ughhh, but she's not feeling so hot, and the standing up and moving around isn't doing any favors. So for now she doesn't say anything more, just taking a moment to like... breathe]

[He's turning to look, the ball of fire disappearing from his hand]

Angel? [Asking if she's okay is usually pretty pointless, so he'll just be blunt] You're...not looking so hot.

Hm? [and of course this means she's falling off her bluffing game]
