Ohohohoho, very funny, Paradisa. Nice way to have a delayed reaction to my conversation with Barney, too. I can live with the outfit, but expecting me to sing about how my life is a mystery is right out.

[Temp loss time for Castle again. This time he is dressed as Rocky Horror- i.e. gold underwear and gold boots.]

[Right on the heels of that mysterious broadcast Phoebe hastily dictates into her journal]

Did anyone else hear that? I've never heard his voice before, does anyone know who he is?

[Her hand is reaching for her radio as she speaks]

It's so weird, I didn't think anyone else co-

[Her words cut off in a sharp gasp as her fingers take hold of the device and the premonition slams into her mind. Her grip tightens as her eyes snap shut, images floating behind her eyelids. The whole thing takes less than a minute but it leaves her breathless as she comes back to herself. She takes a shakey breath, looking down at the radio for a moment as she processes what she just saw. Setting it down she takes up her pen and writes in a filter in a shakey hand]

[Filtered AWAY from anyone who would use this for harm or share it with anyone who would do so. Filtered AWAY from first gens EXCEPT Damsel, Reno, Flora and the man who just spoke through the radio.]

[Her voice is a little unsteady as she speaks]

I just had a premonition... a group of people. Twenty, maybe thirty of them. I've never seen them before but some of them looked like they were hurt. They're all looking up at the sky like they're afraid of something up there. [She pauses to take a breath] They're in one of those western towns in the Dead Zone. I think the man who just spoke to us is telling the truth. A group of us should go out there and see if we can help these people.

[Not everyone in Paradisa is aware of it, but there's a radio system in he castle. Not many even use it, aside from Mark and his weekly broadcasts. But this is certainly not Monday, and when the radio crackles into life, the all too familiar raspy tones of Leonard Cohen are nowhere to be heard.

Instead, they get a stranger's voice, American, for certain, and very panicked
]

I don't know if this thing is reaching anyone or if it's even working. Hell, I could be talking to a herd of buffalo and no one else for all I know. Damsel? Reno? Flora? Any of you getting this at all? Please, if you can hear me, we need desperate help in Winchester.

...Or is it Fairfield? My sense of direction is shot.

The Collectors, they latched onto us, we've got maybe a five days between us and them. If we're lucky. Look, I know you guys aren't big on community spirit, but we're desperate here. We didn't get through all we have just to die in some tacky Spaghetti Western set. No offence, Reno.

Aliens. It had to be aliens. I hate this place and it's love of irony. [The static picks up again] Goddamnit, I'm losing signal. Just...please. Anyone out there- we could really use the help. I repeat. We're in the Winchester/Fairfield area. Come qui-

[And the signal cuts out. There'll be no more responses from the man. So, Paradisa, do you help a complete stranger, or do you stay behind and protect your own?]

[Outside at the castle grounds, Chie has her journal open and seems to be talking to someone...]

Come here and say hi!

[Chie motions a Samoyed puppy over, lowering the journal to the height the puppy could reach. The puppy drops the pink bunny chew toy it has on it's mouth and barked at the journal. The puppy kept trying to stand on two legs but it kept losing it's balance, causing the bell on it's collar to ring]

Good girl!

[Chie giggled, petting her new friend, which the animal clearly appreciates]

I should come up with a name for you. I can't just keep calling you "girl" after all...
