Are you guys busy on April seventh? It’s a Saturday, and I’m not working... so I was wondering if we could all get together. [ A brief pause. Then pretty sheepishly: ] It’s my birthday on the second and I wanted to celebrate with all my friends! We can have a party in the ballroom since my own apartment is way too small to hold everyone.

I’d really love it if you guys could come. I just want to spend more time having fun and crea–creating happier memories with you all.

[ And today, Uru can be found at the duck pond accompanied by adorable ducks she's feeding, and a certain blue footed pal. Her journal lays open to the side, so it'll be picking up the occasional quacking and what sounds like, "Julian!"

It's been over two weeks since the weird message in her journal, plus that strange feeling that shook her for a bit. She might have been imagining it, but the weird stuff did happen on the leap day...

Hesitantly, she'll start: ]

I guess Julian migrated to wherever the ducks went for the winter. I knew he'd have more fun out here with them then being stuck in my apartment. He looks really healthy, too. I wonder where it is they fly off to. The south?

[ ... ]

Hey... um! At the end of February, the castle's magic acted really strangely, didn't it? It's just... has anyone felt or heard anything weird lately? [ A beat. ] Something creepy, maybe?! Or maybe it was just a cruel prank.

Or I'm imagining it? [ A heavy sigh. That's probably it. ]

It's not like the magic here where we can all understand each other.

English is a rather difficult language for non-native speakers.

It would be convenient if everyone could understand each other on Earth, I must admit.

I don't meet any English speakers back home. Most of that happens with businessmen.

I suppose Japan is rather far away from English speaking countries...I don't believe I knew any Japanese speakers back home either.

Well in the Order itself, the official language was English so it was mostly spoken there. But when I was traveling, not everyone would speak English, no.

How did you do your work, then? Translators?

Not unless there was a Finder around that knew the language.

Most of the time if I was in a place long enough, I would learn the language myself. At least, enough to get by...

Yes. A Finder is a person who seeks out rumors that could possibly be Innocence. If the rumors seem to be true, Exorcists get sent.

They also work as sort...of a network for the Order. Keeping tabs and information on various locations.

What do you do with the Innocence? [ Thinks about Kanda and Alma. :( ] When the Exorcists find it?

We would bring back to headquarters. It would be stored until a General could take it to find someone who is compatible with Innocence.
