As a man of the Night's Watch, I was trained, and have trained others in combat archery. Mine is not the keenest eye of the Watch, but I hold my own.

My training began when I was but a boy of 8, and has continued even as I command the Watch. What I may lack in years of experience, I make up for in the field. Though I'll admit, my strength lies with the sword, all men of the Watch are required to gain at least a workable knowledge of the bow, if not a mastery.
