The first magpie [action]
[Consciousness returns to him at a leisurely pace. For a few moments Dhaos refuses to open his eyes, preferring to attempt to banish the residual images of fire and steel, of the light of death and dancing crustaceans. After finding his efforts only marginally successful, he finally decides to face the world.
The first sight that greets him is a view of the ceiling, though a bit of an IV drip is visible from the corner of his eye. Turning his head slightly - it hurts too much to move anything else - he traces the tube running from the bottom of the bag with his eyes. It's connected to me, he mentally notes somewhat dispassionately as he watches the blood flow into his veins. He returns his gaze to the ceiling.]
So it was all real then...? [To anyone listening, they would think the slight tremble in his voice was purely from the trauma of the previous day.]
((OOC: Open post! Anyone who's in the clinic or wishes to drop by can bother Dhaos if they want~))

In a manner of speaking. It was my last location before... here. However, my birth place was Derris-Kharlan.

And here's the end to a great thread! It was fun. C:
Action.
"You're- you're that fellow who was making all that noise before weren't you? Hehe, well if you're asking about that then, you bet. You received a liiiiiiittle trauma... but-but guess what! No brain damage mate! Consider yourself uh... incredibly....lucky."
[Wheatley speaks as if he knows this, which he doesn't. Dhaos could be a loon right now and he couldn't care less."
no subject
"Lucky..." Right...
no subject
[No one will notice, so it's no biggie. Wheatley drags a stool over from one of the desks in the clinic and drags it over to the bed beside the stranger.]
"What's y'name mate?"
[He sets it down and sits on it, rolling up his sleeves.]

After a moment's thought, he decides it doesn't matter if the doctor is strange, or even if he actually means well. No point in worrying when one has become completely useless.]
...I am Dhaos.
no subject
[He trails off, noticing that he MAY have gone a little off topic.]
"Um... [clears throat] Well, anyway, you're doing fine mate. L-levels are absolutely normal. You- what's this?"
[He sees the IV drop]
"You don't need that anymore."
[He just pulls it right out his arm/hand, whichever one it's in.]
"In ..in fact, do you think you can walk? It'd make my life a whooooole ton easier."

Are you talking about those blob things?
no subject
No, I don't know of any blob things. I just got here very recently.
no subject
You just got here? I got here a few weeks ago.

[He's not quite sure how to phrase the fact that he'd been run through with a broadsword to her. Children are inquisitive by nature, and she was bound to ask why it had happened. He's not sure he's ready to face that just yet.]

... quick, to recover. [ Duke's trying to tell who else is in the clinic without having to get too far in. If its the grouchy man, he'd rather get out now. Dhaos might feel a faint swirling of magic, one that is centered about Duke. ]
Sorry it took a tad long to reply!
...Hello?
s'okay o/
Did he come in at everyone's break? Good and bad. ]
Recovered quickly, to be speaking again. [ A bit repeating, but oh well. He'll carefully make his way into the room a bit more. ]

Thank you for helping save my life, though I apologize for landing on you. [A pause.] ...How long was I out?
no subject
.... Roughly a day. May feel like less, used Stop Flow perhaps a little much to be particularly healthy for either. [ Tired. He might have slept most of that day. ]

Eventually, he wandered into Dhaos' area and regarded him curiously, before jumping on his bed. Humans slept here? ]
Poyo! [ he greets. ]
no subject
Hello there. My name is Dhaos. What's yours?
no subject
Kaabii!
... Dhao...s...? [ it was one of the easier names to say, and he repeated it, hopping a little on the bed. ] Dhaos! Dhaos, poyo!
no subject
[Dhaos likes this little puffball. It's a very friendly little critter, and a wonderful distraction from his thoughts.]
no subject
Poyo? [ he walks closer to Dhaos' head, taking a seat. ]
Poyo poyo? [ The puffball motions to their surroundings, still curious about why he would sleep here. This wasn't even where the bedrooms were... right? ]
