Would you leave the Castle now, if you could?

Friday was unfortunate. But for most of the year, surely it has given us a comfortable home and the most singular of friends.

And so, as for myself, I would not. I should like to tarry here a little longer, if only to relish the taste of liberty and the fruits of invention. Refrigerators are so magnificent!

[ With that, she will be in the kitchen with the fridge door open, sticking her hands into it with glee. ]

[ It takes her pretty long to figure out what that noise was. ]

Romulus?

[The name's Henry...but okay. He growls again, almost asking where she was this time.]

[ That sounds like her Romulus! She giggles. ]

How about--a growl for yes and a whine for no?

[Well, the name could be worse. He'd just have to correct her when he finally has a voice. So he growls again.]

[ It's almost like having a talking dog. ]

Would you like to come out and play, Romulus?

[Ouch! He does growl again though. It was fun last time.]

[ Oops. A MUCH COOLER talking dog, that is. She claps with glee. ]

How about a game of hide-and-seek?

[Much better. More growling, though it makes him feel like a child.]

[ She would invite him to a tea party but figures the tea cups will be unwieldy. ]

Shall I meet you by the fountain in a minute?

[Yes. Indeed. He growls the affirmative and heads there.]

[ She takes quite a few more minutes than promised to get there, but she will be there eventually, a skip in her steps. ]

[Henry is waiting, lying as he had been when they had talked the previous day, head on his front paws.]

[ She giggles at the sight of him and trots closer, stopping to crouch in front of him. ]

It is good to see you again, my dear Romulus.

[He stares a little at her, wishing he could smile and waiting for instructions.]

[ He is too adorable--but yes, no patting him on the head. ]

Would you like to hide first? I will start counting here. You can hide anywhere!

[Where can the big HAP hide? But Henry goes looking.]
