[ Kirby didn't feel up to drawing today, so have a pink ball jumping on the couch in the Lobby, quite enjoying himself. He wasn't allowed to do this when he visited his friends at the castle back at home, but this wasn't the same castle. Besides, he could have fun here without any parents or anyone telling him to stop! ]

Poyo poyo~ Poyoyoyo~  [ he laughs a little as he jumps especially high, not a care in the world at the moment. ]

Ah well! Language is no matter for those who know how to have fun--and you certainly seem to know that quite well, my little pink friend!

[ Definitely! Kirby nods, agreeing wholeheartedly, and smiles happily. ]

Poyo! [ he hops on the couch once more, then looking at Clopin almost expectantly. Fun wasn't going to have itself! ]

Well, if you insist!

[He hops up on the couch and starts bouncing along, too!]

Poyo! [ Kirby's quite pleased with you. He starts jumping consistently once he's sure he's got a hopping buddy, laughing ]

[the_storyteller]

I wonder! [Hop] If there is! [Hop] A better place! [Hop] For such bouncing!

[The couch is springy, yes, but less so for a full grown man than it is for a tiny Kirby. Of course Clopin himself is springy so this point is a bit irrelevant...]

[ Kirby thinks of this while he continues hopping. What would be better to jump on?

The answer he came up with was a trampoline. So he pictured a big trampoline that could fit both of them and a lot more and wished for it. The trampoline appeared in the middle of the Lobby. ]

Poyo? [ he points to the trampoline. Look it's the best thing ever! and arguably more springy than Clopin! ]

[the_storyteller]

What in the world have you dreamt up, little one?

[He jumps down from the couch and skitters over to the trampoline, poking and prodding at it and peeking underneath it in an attempt to figure it out.]

[chubbycreampuff]

[ Kirby is shocked the man doesn't know what a trampoline is, and decides to enlighten him about its wonderfulness by jumping on it with all of his might, sending him higher in the air ]

Poyo!

[the_storyteller]

What a fabulous contraption! Haa!

[And with a jubilant cry, Clopin joins Kirby, leaping on the trampoline with all of his might.]

[chubbycreampuff]

[ Kirby starts laughing, glad to see Clopin joining him. His jumps made Kirby sail even farther than the couch! The puff tries to jump higher, putting as much of his weight as he could on the trampoline. ]

Poyooooooooo!

[the_storyteller]

Look at you go, my friend!

[He gets brave, then, and does a midair flip.]

Can you do that?

[chubbycreampuff]

[ He isn't sure, but he sure does want to try! Kirby tries to concentrate as he flies into the air again and tries to flip. Instead, he just bounces off of his back. ]

Poyo! [ he tries to get back on his feet again, but he's having trouble ]

[the_storyteller]

Let me help you there, little fellow!

[He springs over to Kirby and helps to right him once again, then takes a seat, cross-legged, on the trampoline.]

I don't believe I've properly introduced myself to you. My name is Clopin. Lovely to meet a fellow fan of bouncing about!

[chubbycreampuff]

[ Thankful for being helped, he smiles at the funnily-dressed fellow before seating himself too. ]

Clo...pin? [ he attempts to repeat, wanting to make sure he got it right. ] Clopin, poyo!

[ Introduction time? Kirby is the master at this. He motions to himself. ]

Kaabii!

A peculiar name for a peculiar fellow. Hm. It suits you well--and I do mean that in the best possible way!

[ It suited him? It was the first time Kirby had heard that one. He looks kind of proud. ]

Poyo!

[the_storyteller]

[He's lost in thought for just a moment.]

Do you know what would make this all the better? Having one of these contraptions outdoors!

[He's beaming as though he's the first person to ever think of putting a trampoline outside.]

[chubbycreampuff]

[ Well, Kirby already knew about using trampolines outside, but he was happy about the idea nonetheless. He hops a little bit, excited to try this, and jumps off of the trampoline, ready to head outside. ]

Poyo!

Yes, let's go--Kahbee, was it?

[Without waiting to see if he's right at all, he marches outdoors, searching for the perfect place for a second trampoline.]

[chubbycreampuff]

[ Kirby follows, running to try to catch up to the human's longer strides (he didn't have legs to help him, so it was a bit difficult). ]

Poyo! [ Once they're outside, he points to an empty clearing in the courtyard. Maybe over there? ]
