Since when did eveyone become so miserly with mere directions? I simply want to know how to -- would you please cease that at once!

Indeed there is more than one. And no, I am not discussing merely, different time periods though there are some in that regard as well. Some versions have, nothing spectacular to them other than the people who are drawn here from it, others have beings that do not exist in others. Certain, elements to key events as well are altered depending on the version of Earth.

That is to imply that even though we both claim to be from Earth, we may very well be from two different places...

Precisely. And it is more than likely not that we are, indeed, from two different worlds that happen to share many things in common.

And what of this, 'Magic Castle' business I've been hearing about?

The castle we are presently residing in is called Paradisa, and while I doubt it is magical [hear the scorn there?], it does have abilities of a supernatural sort. It is, sentient, in that it provides for us, reacts to intrusions to it and harm done to it.

Indeed, it is able to defend itself, apparently from telepathic attacks, repairs itself over night. There is also evidence that, a similar castle not this one but elsewhere in this world spoke to it's residents, which would imply this one could as well.
