❀ Does anybody know how to get chewing gum out of hair?! ❀

[A short pause.]

❀ Maybe shampoo will help, right? I don't really want to cut it! ❀

You don't have to cut it. I know a few tricks! First I think you need to calm down, though. Panicking will only make everything worse.

It's a start! Do you have any ice?

[A pause as he tries the first of those suggestions.]

❀ I don't think the castle wants to help. I asked extra nicely, but it wouldn't do anything! ❀

[stalkershiki]

You got chewing gum in your hair?? Oh, no! I... I'm pretty sure that peanut butter can work to get it out...?

[petitfours]

❀ Peanut butter?! Do you think that would really help? ❀

[stalkershiki]

I-I don't know! I just heard that it does!

[petitfours]

[A little hesitantly.]

❀ I guess we can try... ❀

[stalkershiki]

Well, I just heard that it does something about the stickiness of the gum... and even if we're wrong, we can at least wash the peanut butter out of your hair!

[petitfours]

❀ ... Alright. If you really think it won't make it worse... ❀

[stalkershiki]

I don't think it'll make anything worse!

I think...

[petitfours]

❀ Well, if you really think so, maybe you could come over and we could try it? ❀

[stalkershiki]

Yeah, totally! You're in your room, right?

[petitfours]

❀ Yeah, I'm up in my room! Do you remember where it is? ❀

[stalkershiki]

Yeah, I do. I'll be right there!

[And just a few minutes later, Shiki's at his door, knocking on it lightly.]

Hunny? You there?

[petitfours]

❀ Yeah, just a second! ❀

[There's a sudden crash from inside - he'd been standing on an overturned box, trying to see in the mirror where the gum has latched onto the top-back of his head. Unfortunately he quite forgot this when he turned around to answer the door.]

❀ Oops... Just another second! ❀

[stalkershiki]

Huh?? Omigod, Hunny, what's going on in there??

[petitfours]

[He throws the door open, a bit melodramatically.]

❀ I knocked over a chair, that's all! ❀

[stalkershiki]

Y-You did? But... how? Why?

[petitfours]

❀ I was trying to see the back of my head in the mirror, but it was too high up! ❀

[stalkershiki]

O-Oh... you're okay though, right?

[petitfours]

❀ Yeah! I'm not hurt at all, see? ❀

[stalkershiki]

W-Well, alright then, so long as you're sure... let's get that gum out of your hair!

[petitfours]

❀ Alright! ❀

[He skips over to grab a comb.]

[stalkershiki]

Ahh, wait, wait, wait! Don't try a comb just yet - you'll get the gum stuck in the comb, too!!

[petitfours]

[He freezes.]

❀ O-Okay... ❀

[stalkershiki]

Um... why don't you come over here, and sit down on the floor in front of me, so I can work on your hair? I'm... gonna have to put some stuff in it, but you can wash it out later, okay?

[petitfours]

❀ Alright... ❀

[He does so, looking a little hesitant.]

[stalkershiki]

[Shiki wishes up a small bit of peanut butter from the castle, and takes some of it up in her index and middle fingers.]

Hunny, I'm about to put some peanut butter in your hair. It should ease out the gum, and then you can just wash it out, okay?

[petitfours]

[He nods, and then scrunches his eyes shut so he won't see her putting gross stuff in his hair.]

[stalkershiki]

[Shiki takes a deep breath, and starts squishing it into Hunny's hair around the gum. It's a good thing his eyes are closed - he wouldn't want to see the grossed out look on her face right now. Not that it's going badly or anything, nothing of the sort... it's just a gross feeling.

Slowly, however, the gum starts to move a little bit down his hair.]

Ahh! Hunny, I'm getting it!

[petitfours]

[He is too busy scrunching up his face to look relieved - the smell of peanut butter isn't something he's used to.]

Really? It's working?!

[stalkershiki]

Yeah, it is! Hang on, let me get a little bit more peanut butter on there...

[And she starts spreading more peanut butter all the way to the end of that clump of hair, so the gum can just slide off.]

And... wait for it... there it goes! I got it!

[petitfours]

[In excitement, he whips his head around as if that will somehow help him see the gum-less back of his head.]

Wow! Thanks, Shiki!

[stalkershiki]

[She shows him the peanut butter covered gum in her hand before quickly throwing it away.]

Haha, hey, no problem! What are friends for, amirite?

[Once he sees the gum in her hand, a big grin spreads on his face, and he turns around and gives her a big hug, and another cheek-kiss.]
