[Zelos had been taking a short nap in his room, kinda oblivious to the flooding until it started flooding into his room on the fourth floor. But you know, nothing wakes you up like ice cold water splashing on your face. And now without any choice, he's forced to vacate outside the windows, wings fully out and kinda glowing like flipping tinkerbell in the night as he struggles to try to stay in the air because he's still getting the hang of this flying thing; dictated in a VERY annoyed tone though he's not entirely aware his journal slipped open]
Seriously?!
Is this usually what counts for a rain shower here?! You gotta be kidding me! What are we supposed to do - tread water all night?! Ugh!
[What guys the night isn't complete without some whining]
[OOC: Open, over the journal- whatever. He's not a strong enough flyer to carry people without you know, making you wish you had chosen to swam instead- but at least he can be, idk- a light source if all else?]

[He'll take the rope to fly up to the next floor, tying it to an overhang or something] Of course! I wouldn't leave a lady to peril! If you fall...I'll do my best to try to catch you, okay?

[She snickers, looking out the window, holding a hand out to try to watch him. Ooooh man this is gonna be interesting...]
Well the bitch said I couldn't climb a rope if my life depended on it. Let's see if she's right.
[She steps up onto her windowsill, holding onto the rope for balance]

[He watches her, trying to do what he can to steady the rope. DON'T DROP GIRL...]
Let's hope not!

[trying not to think about the fact that she's on the fourth floor and the distinct lack of GROUND below her, Nora grips the rope and starts to pull herself up. It's tough going since the rope's slick as hell and the rain's pouring down over her.]

[Yeah, he's watching....sure wish he had an umbrella or something for you. Or you know, wasn't a complete sucky flyer ]

Try me.

[He hesitates, but she is kinda going out on a limb here with the whole climbing up a wall...and Lloyd said not to lie about himself, so...]
Uh...Angel?
no subject
Wait... are you calling me Angel or is that what you are?
[Now that her heart rate has come down to slightly more manageable levels she starts to climb again, slowly and carefully.]

[Surprisingly, talking is helping keep her focused on the moment and, well, not on plumetting to her death. She's moving slowly, but she's making definite headway.]

[he's relieved to see that, but definitely still keeping watch]

[She pauses, trying to catch her breath.]

[She looks up. Almost there! Slowly she starts to climb again]

[She can almost reach the ledge, now. SOCLOSE]

[There's a lot of reasons, but he prefers remaining vague. ]

You were... [She gets a better grip, trying to pull herself up] human?

Is it that hard to believe?
