[After travelling around a few floors, Kallen finally arrives at her intended destination. She does waste any time before knocking on the door and speaking to let the occupant know who it is.]

[hmmmmmm, she gives her a PROBING GAZE, and then nods to show she accepts her word] Okay.

[Holding up both hands like this.] See? No more.

[Full blown laughter now.]

[With this riveting conversation going on, it's about the time that Yosuke comes back to the room, a couple of bags packed from the kitchen of ridiculous things, ranging from an electric kettle, loafs of bread and cold cuts, and a bunch of junk food.

He's not the best cook, but he's not comfortable wishing for food when the castle is acting like this, or dealing with a trek into town and leaving Nanako on her own.

Only...Not so alone after all. This is a person he's never met before, but she hardly looks hostile. So there's a widespread grin automatically on his face]

[Okay, so this wasn't the LAST thing she was expecting to happen, but it certainly wasn't the first.

When the door opens, Kallen jumps a bit and looks at Nanako quickly before facing Yosuke with a startled expression.]

Hi.

[adorbs]

Yosuke! [nanako stands up from the couch and waves.... there's the slightest pause as she looks between the two of them. She knows they're not... dating, but what does Kallen feel?]

Um, Kallen came to visit.

[spinstrikes]

[He's pretty much assuming her surprise just stems from the fact that she had no idea he lived here, which is a fair point as it's more unofficial and his nameplate isn't on the door. The door he's kicking closed behind him, grin still firmly in place and a little more genuine at Nanako's address] Hey, Nanako-chan. Are you hungry?

That's nice of you, the castle being like it is.

It's no big deal. She's my friend, and I wanted to see how she was doing.

[Kallen slowly stands as well, gaze never really leaving Yosuke.]

I should probably go now.

[adorbs]

Mm, yeah!

[uh oh, but then her look gets a little more worried as she looks back at Kallen.... :(] Are, um... you have to go somewhere?

Still pretty brave!

[That.....Staring is pretty awkward, but...He feels a little bad that he's chasing her out, and Nanako doesn't seem any happier about it, which pretty much seals his decision for him] Nah, stick around! You came all this way, and there's more than enough food.

[She reaches up and idly scratches the back of her head before nodding slowly, mostly to Nanako, but she does acknowledge Yosuke as well.]

Okay, sure. Heading back out there might not be the best idea yet anyway.

[The bags receive a quizzical look.]

So what'd you bring?

[adorbs]

Yeah, people should make sure they stay together. [aaah, she looks so relieved at the lessened tension, and also looks curiously at Yosuke

Yeah, it's not any better out there when I went to the kitchen.

[He lifts the bag a little sheepishly before heading the rest of the over to them so he can sit with them] Nothing great, just sandwhich stuff, and snack food.

Not much we can do without power. [Also he couldn't cook to save his life, so there's that]

[Kallen immediately peers into the bag and starts sorting through stuff. She eventually pulls out some graham crackers, marshmallows and chocolate bars and sets them aside before going back to sifting.]

These could be good for a snack.

[adorbs]

[nanako shakes her head] That's okay, I like sandwiches!

Oh... [hmmmm? she sees what Kallen is lifting up] Is that s'more stuff?

Good.

[Baw, Nanako you are so kind to his fragile male ego! Bigger grin and mild hair ruffling for you, is a go]

That wasn't my best plan. [Lol no fire or microwave, but he guesses, they could still eat it without the melty goodness]
