[It looks like someone's a little lost in the forests around... somewhere. At first glance, the six-foot-something man could pass for a short Charizard, but it's really cosplay. He's wearing a cartoonish hat; his long, red-streaked silver hair leaks from beneath it. Limp homemade wings fasten to his back via small shoulder straps. Beneath his ridiculous costume, he's wearing some kind of crimson tunic.

His only companion-- perhaps the only one who can understand him-- is a Charmander babbling about how crazy this guy is in Pokéspeak.]

Char! Charmander!

[Poké Maniac Krasus is not very stealthy, but that doesn't keep him from jumping out of the bushes and confronting would-be trainers and travelers. If one isn't spooked by his sudden appearance, they just might die laughing.]

[ A wild redhead appears! Cross keeps looking over his shoulder at his Ralts, which is a few steps behind its tall pokemaster. Care to give them a scare? ]

[A crazy old man cosplayer leaps out of the tall grass, roaring so loud that his voice cracks. He stamps his big (possibly plush) feet in a territorial gesture and tries to breathe fire, but ends up coughing instead.

Very smooth.]

[ Cross's Raltz jumps at Crazy Man's bounding from the bushes, while Cross just...stares. And wishes he had a gun on him to shoot this guy in the foot.

Now he is judging this guy hardcore as the man coughs. You do that. ]

[He doesn't say anything, though he understands the man's language. It's because years and years of being in the wild has made him evolve from a human into a Charizard. He is the missing link! Krasuszard.

And now he wants to find humans again. He wants that companionship. He wants to be trained.

So he plops down right in front of Cross and looks at him expectantly.]

Step two: resist terrible attempt at intimidation, take a step closer]

[There are few things left in any world that could possibly unnerve Vereesa.

A man bursting from a bush in a giant dragon costume and throwing himself in front of her? That probably makes the list.

The fact that it's KRASUS of all people? Well, that will only solidify it once she recognizes just who he is beneath that suit.

For now, she's left to simply gape at him with a bewildered look. The Snivy at her side looks rather unimpressed.]

[However threatening the guy is... it's pretty much cancelled out when he sits down and stares at her expectantly, hat tilted a little. This is how weakened Pokémon are caught, right?]

When he looks up at her, she sees it. She sees that face she knows all too well and it freezes her in place.]

[The ralts glances up at Galadriel, as if to ask how her owner knows the crazy man. Galadriel cautiously moves a little closer, still looking appropriately puzzled. Paradisa, what even?]

My friend, you seem to have [Completely lost your marbles.] taken a turn for the worse.

[Ranger Alleyne would like to battle! Wait, no. She's just walking around, still quite mad she no longer has her cool elf senses. A shiny Aipom clings to her back and a Pansage walks alongside her, pointing out the silly, silly man near them.

She sighs and adjusts the brim of her cap, other hand firmly on her rope on her hip.]

[He's an elfish man of indeterminate age in a Halloween costume. This isn't healthy behavior.

[Krasus notices a girl coming and attempts to lumber into her way. Unfortunately he trips on his stupidly big feet and kinda... flops face first, right in front of her.

stepping on him would have indeed happened, expect she was way too surprised by his sudden appearance. stepping instead becomes tripping, and she stumbles, flailing. she manages to hold on to a convenient nearby tree to keep herself from falling.
