[Kanji's voice sounds worried and sad when it comes over the journals, along with the sounds of something else.]

Couple things. I can't find Eridan anywhere. Anybody seen him? I'm hoping he just lost his journal or something.

[There's a highpitched "Tiktiktik" that interrupts him.]

And two, I guess. These things what I think they are? I mean, the little guy looks it but you never know.

Yeah, it's not hard at all. I'm kinda lookin' forward to it. I wonder if we get to keep 'em whenever we get back to the castle?

That seems to vary. A few years ago, when we travelled to a region like this one, all of my Pokemon turned into little stuffed animals, upon return to the castle. Others, however, remained with their masters.
