[And, quite suddenly...
You're holding your journal. If you already were holding it, congratulations. If you weren't... you are now! Somebody wants your attention.
And get this: it's empty.
The old one's kicking around somewhere, but for now, look at what Paradisa gave you!]

Really, I'm sure you'd have more fun doing something else.

At the moment? Doesn't seem likely.

Eh?

[He approaches back over to the journal, glancing at these words]
Well if you're bored, please do me a favour and on the next new page- I don't know- draw something.

Feel like sharing with the class?

What? Oh.
[He almost wants to say something extremely snarky, but eh he's not that mean spirited]
The journal wasn't wiped.

No? What's your explanation?
dictated;
Though I'm sure if you spent less time bothering me, you would've found yours by now.

Got the same result, didn't I?

Any other thoughts?

Like I said: bored.

Without getting into too much exposition...it's as if the magic of the old journals ran out. So maybe it's another indication that the castle truly isn't as all powerful as people believe. There's a limit.

[The fact the journals were empty when they arrived, but first gens have them too. The fact that they blanked out when nothing was going on, thus ruling out the castle deleted before because of a major event caused by the first generations (and that there were journal entries before due to the evidence the castle presented with Slender man- and the fact the castle wanted it gone but could not expel him itself). The whole incident with the brainwashing them into townspeople and how destroying the castle solved it. And finally basic principles of magic- no spell truly lasts forever]
[But that doesn't mean he has to share it with a troll]
