[And, quite suddenly...

You're holding your journal. If you already were holding it, congratulations. If you weren't... you are now! Somebody wants your attention.

And get this: it's empty.

The old one's kicking around somewhere, but for now, look at what Paradisa gave you!]
cricketycricket: (- what . -)

[personal profile] cricketycricket 2012-01-10 05:56 am (UTC)(link)
[just. all the staring. the journal's found him of its own accord before, but never this abruptly. it WAS a teacup a second ago, and suddenly he was trying to sip from a blank page.

he flips through the pages, a scowl starting at the corners of his eyes and crinkling down his nose to turn his mouth down as he realizes the book is now utterly empty.

except, of course, for the one word it picks up, still in his immaculate handwriting once he speaks:]

What...!

[Because Mycroft's bored and wants to do this with little in the way of damaging his reputation.]

Discovered it have you?
cricketycricket: (- arm yourself -)

two can play at this game, hurr hurr

[personal profile] cricketycricket 2012-01-10 06:00 am (UTC)(link)
Fond of stating the obvious, I see.
isbritishgov: (find his address)

I couldn't help it my other two like Five xD

[personal profile] isbritishgov 2012-01-10 06:05 am (UTC)(link)
As are you. Though my stating the obvious is only in response to your, surprise, at the present state of the journal. You have something of importance in previous entries?
cricketycricket: (- brainy specs -)

CR Bingo!

[personal profile] cricketycricket 2012-01-10 06:09 am (UTC)(link)
Most people do, yes. What about yourself? [he's wishing the journal wasn't blank so he could try and find handwriting to compare this to. DAMN]
isbritishgov: (records are your friend)

Yup! :D

[personal profile] isbritishgov 2012-01-10 06:13 am (UTC)(link)
[And that's what he's going for here! If handwriting could sound smug, well it would right now.]

I have only lost what, information was available in it. Nothing of great importance barring that of course.

Dictated

[personal profile] wizard_redfive 2012-01-10 06:12 am (UTC)(link)
[There is a grumpy but familiar voice coming from the blank journal.]

That is the question of the day. Maybe the year if we're being generous.
cricketycricket: (- doesn't bode well -)

[personal profile] cricketycricket 2012-01-10 06:14 am (UTC)(link)
Isn't it just. Though, I do admit, I was thinking the castle was due for one of its tricks sooner or later...
wizard_redfive: (Smile)

[personal profile] wizard_redfive 2012-01-10 06:33 am (UTC)(link)
As if it doesn't trick us enough. [Dairine's Paradisa life has been loss after loss after world change after loss.

But Dairine smiles.
]

Still, it's good to hear from you, Doctor.
cricketycricket: (- at the TARDIS console -)

[personal profile] cricketycricket 2012-01-11 04:08 am (UTC)(link)
At least it keeps us on our toes, rather than languishing in boredom. If I wasn't so busy dealing with all of this, I don't know what I'd do with myself. I'm usually hardly in the same place for a matter of days, let alone years. The chaos is what makes it tolerable, as far as I'm concerned.

Thank you, though. ... How've you been faring? Haven't spoken to you since Paris, after all.
wizard_redfive: (Default)

I'm sorry this is so late!

[personal profile] wizard_redfive 2012-02-05 06:51 am (UTC)(link)
I guess so. Being grounded to one place is a frustrating experience. [Dairine doesn't even want to think about staying years. The universe needs saving now!]

Just fine. It seems I’m part of someone else’s loss again, but so far it seems pretty harmless.
inafadingcrown: (Few escape her nets they say)

[personal profile] inafadingcrown 2012-01-10 06:15 am (UTC)(link)
In truth, I am surprised we were allowed so useful a resource for so long. [The castle does seem to enjoy frustrating her snooping in every other possible way.]
cricketycricket: (- not so sure really -)

[personal profile] cricketycricket 2012-01-10 06:17 am (UTC)(link)
Bit cynical of you, don't you think, my friend?
inafadingcrown: (Even the smallest person)

[personal profile] inafadingcrown 2012-01-10 06:35 am (UTC)(link)
Perhaps. Does it surprise you? [She would think you'd have caught on to her strange combination of cynicism and hope by now.]
cricketycricket: (- hello? -)

[personal profile] cricketycricket 2012-01-11 04:09 am (UTC)(link)
Not really. [he does sound amused, though] Alright, other than the sudden lack of written history?

hell yes what-off.

hello Doctor
i take it your journal has up and emptied itself too
cricketycricket: (- brainy specs -)

[personal profile] cricketycricket 2012-01-11 04:10 am (UTC)(link)
As a matter of fact, Aradia, it has. ... With no other outwardly adverse effect, either. Is everything else the same on your end of things, as well?
psych0p0mps: neutral expression (♈ just a-having a think)

[personal profile] psych0p0mps 2012-01-11 04:22 am (UTC)(link)
nope so far so good
im not picking up any temporal vibrations or anything are you?
cricketycricket: (- temporal cardioversion -)

[personal profile] cricketycricket 2012-01-11 04:42 am (UTC)(link)
No ... and to be honest, that's how I know we're alright. If anything temporally destructive of note were happening, I wouldn't be feeling very well at all.

[personal profile] courageous_wit 2012-01-10 10:59 am (UTC)(link)
Doctor...? Is your journal blank as well?
cricketycricket: (- smarter than you -)

[personal profile] cricketycricket 2012-01-11 04:12 am (UTC)(link)
Well, it isn't now that we're talking? But as of a moment or so ago, it was. [cheek, he still has it, even in the face of Castle Oddities]
courageous_wit: (Uhh)

[personal profile] courageous_wit 2012-01-11 11:10 am (UTC)(link)

cricketycricket: (- brainy specs -)

omg that icon is fantastic

[personal profile] cricketycricket 2012-01-14 04:23 am (UTC)(link)
I'm not entirely sure. Working on it, though ... [whirrrrrrrr, goes his "new" sonic screwdriver]
