[And, quite suddenly...

You're holding your journal. If you already were holding it, congratulations. If you weren't... you are now! Somebody wants your attention.

And get this: it's empty.

The old one's kicking around somewhere, but for now, look at what Paradisa gave you!]

So are you saying you actually read all of it?

[smug, smug, smug]

When it involves the reader in question, you sort of have to in order to fully control any rumors spreading from it.

[She feels a migraine incoming now. Thanks.]

Don't you have anything better to do? Something...more wholesome?

Well, I was thinking of breaking in the new journal with a story or two.

[heh] Why? Do you have any better suggestions?

When the rest of the castle is breathing down your neck, and not in the way you prefer, don't come crying to me for protection. I warned you.

[She warned you about smut, sisbro. She told you, dog.]

The only time I would run to anybody in tears would be if an ogre ripped my arm off and if I hadn't died from blood loss and shock yet.

[grin] Otherwise, you'd definitely be the one I look for when I need a shoulder to cry on. Your ability to empathize with me is the balm I need for my broken heart.

Oh, I'll bet it's comforting to some unmentionable part of you.

[Rubbing her temples and sighing]

You know, if you put this level of effort into some other endeavor, you could do good, so why focus so hard on this?

Gold and giggles, sweet thing. Doing 'good' would hardly get me what I want.

There's more to life than coin, you know. There's a lot of things that won't ever buy you.
shipper_on_deck: (that's enough out of you)

[personal profile] shipper_on_deck 2012-01-10 07:23 am (UTC)(link)
[she hardly wants to be bought. Again.]

And how else am I supposed to keep score with the other pirates?
disciplines: (Watch as their wills are broke)

[personal profile] disciplines 2012-01-10 07:30 am (UTC)(link)
Score? Is piracy a game now? Besides, you know all I could tell you honestly is to hoard the better weapons and train your crew in using them better than the others. Think about it; you could just take anything they had if you could out-man them.

Seems like a lot of work for so little reward, though.

Out-man, out-maneuver, out-speed, out-think. My sailors were top-notch, thank you very much.

[a pause] Well, after I weeded out a few bastards here and there.
