Sixteenth Spell

[Hermione has taken her radio down to the music room. Hard Harry suggested they use it to broadcast music. So she is going to do just that. She taps the radio until she gets a good frequency, then begins to play the piano.

It's a simple piece but she still sounds a bit out of practice. Not much chance for music when you're on the run]

What sort of magical creatures do you have in your world?

Tons! But the ones I was mainly thinking of are house-elves. They act as servants to rich wizards and are treated very poorly. The worst of it is they have their own magic but so many wizards think they're inferior so they don't even factor in that magic.

Only because other wizards are convinced house-elves are happy this way, and the house-elves don't fight for their rights the way goblins would.

See I don't know what house-elves are like, but the elves I've met here, I can't imagine them being that subservient to anyone.

Anything called a goblin though I imagine to be pretty snarky.

Exactly! If only the house-elves could meet the elves in this world, I'm certain they would think differently.

Goblins are very clever. They were oppressed by wizards once, but they fought back.

Well it's good that you're helping the house-elves do the same. Although wizards where you from sound kind of like jackasses at this rate.

I wouldn't say that. I think they're just raised into those beliefs. Those who aren't raised by wizards, like myself and my friend Harry, see house-elves differently.

Prejudice is usually born of ignorance. There's just as much of a problem where I'm from. Every world's got it, I suppose.
