I've had some experience with colts at the Knight's stables, but never an egg. I don't want to accidentally hurt it.

.... Keep at body temperature. Blankets and other cloth is a good substitute for a nest, heat can either come from you, or bricks heated by fireside and wrapped in cloth as well.

... Do not know how long it should take - do not know how far along the egg is. Remember something about the texture however...
