[Hesam had been trying to pretend he didn't exist for the most part of the past month, trying not to feel too much like a crap friend to those he still cared about in this place. But as far as he was concerned, living hermit-style was better for everyone involved. He wouldn't have to deal with losing more friends and he would prefer to be traumatized by possible future vampires in his own new place instead of inside the Castle where someone he knew would walk in on his weak wibbly ass and never be able to look at him the same way again.

Plus, the bonus to staying cooped up alone in his own place meant nobody could judge him for the drinking. Or the pining he was finding himself doing.

Of course, he had completely underestimated Paradisa's ability to ruin all his plans.

Naturally, the one time he decides to leave his home and crack open the journal to try and catch up on what's been going on outside his door, there's a light and a disturbing sensation under his skin.]


What the--oh dude, no way. This better be my ticket back to Mercy and not a--UGH!!


[If anyone goes looking for Hesam they'll find him a whole lot shorter and younger, not too far from the Castle.]

P-peter? [As quietly as possible because he is suddenly overwhelmingly shy but he knows he trusts Peter. Just as much as he trusts his family.]

[He really isn't sure how to answer that because he doesn't know how to describe what he's feeling. But some upset sniffling is the best he can offer Peter.]

[Despite Alan's attempts to convince Hesam otherwise, his friend had moved out of the Castle. He hadn't heard from him from awhile - and part of that was Alan's fault; he should have continued to check in.

He's surprised to hear Hesam's voice from the journal - but even more surprised and concerned when he hears the groan.]

Hesam? Are you alright?

[He clutches the journal to him tightly, feeling lost and confused and missing his mommy and daddy fiercely. But through the haze he knows he trusts this voice, even if holding back tears is twice as hard.]

A-Alan? I...dunno where I am... [Finishing off with a tiny whimper and sniffle. Daddy!Alan - halp!]

[The voice that responds is a kid's, but he identified to the name Hesam. A loss of some sort, maybe? Alan had said it would happen regardless of leaving the castle or not... But with a crying kid, that's not important right now.] Yes, it's me. What happened?

I don't know... [sniffs but then tries to explain from a child's point of view about where he is.]
