[South Dakota is choosing today to keep her armor on. Ever since her lovely welcome and Washington greeting her with a shot to her shoulder, she's been a bit jumpy when she was out on her own.]

[Still, she wasn't about to let the threat of Washington keep her holed up in her room. Once she's safely made it to the DeathMatch, she sits at the bar, placing her helmet on the counter and ordering a Long Island Iced Tea, then starts idly flipping through her journal.]

What's your favorite thing the castle has ever done? Least favorite thing? [Seemed liked the quickest, easiest way to get a read on this place, as well as some of the other residents.]

Well, what kind of weaponry do you know?

It's pretty extensive. [except swords] We were trained in pretty much everything from pugil sticks to heavy weaponry.

I'm most comfortable with a shotgun or magnum, so my sword skills might be a little rusty. [Or, fairly non-existent. She's banking on experience with the pugil sticks to help her not look like a complete idiot.]

[She doesn't remember talking to this guy, how does he know her name? ] Who the fuck are you?

No-one's trying to kill him. I've had to secure him so he doesn't try to kill anyone else.

I could tell you my most favorite thing about the castle, but it would be a lie. As for least favorite... should I go in chronological or alphabetical order?

I think we'll have different definitions of traumatic, but the time I wsa stripped of my powers and beaten by a small, oink dog might count as least. Most traumatic... that would be keeping me from going into the Dead Zone.

[The Master sits next to her at the bar and orders a brandy. He gives her a short glance, but then turns back, interested in her armor. He studies the design for a few moments. He wasn't aware of any police or military organizations in Paradisa.]

[She doesn't pay him much attention at first, until she's aware that he's taken such an interest in her, at which point she sit slightly back and glares at him.]

Can I help you? [Creepy old dude who kind of looks like Director ...]

Not unless you designed your armor yourself, no.

[He gives her a charming smile, unaffected by her glare.]

No, I didn't. Sorry. [She doesn't sound sorry at all.]

I just know how to utilize it. [Sounding haughty and proud. That charming smile was a little disarming.]

There'd be no point to wearing it, if you didn't.

[The Master shrugs, not ending his scrutiny. It really is a fine piece of equipment.]
