[ so very dictated, this time without wounds to her pride. ]
It's difficult to imagine that something so beautiful can be capable of something like removing us from our homes and making us suffer losses. The only reassurance I have is that I am not the only one from home here and even then I am not sure I should be thankful for that.
[ The journal picks up the sound of grass crunching under feet as she continues; ]
It would seem I owe some of you an apology. I was told that I have been here before but, no matter how hard I try, I cannot remember anything. I know that it is entirely out of my own hands but, if we were acquainted before, I apologize for not remembering you. With that said, I suppose an introduction is in order. Or, well, a reintroduction.
My name is Elena, of Gawant.

[ scribble, scribble. someone is trying this filtering thing out since all of the cool kids seems to be doing it. ]
Arthur and Gwaine,
It is Elena. Are you both able to read my writing? Someone told me that, should I only want to talk to a single person, I could try this. This is.. quite an interesting castle, isn't it? Once I am settled I was hoping to spend more time in the kitchen, but I also wanted to visit the town.
It's almost refreshing being here now, though I am sure my opinion may change in the future. For now, it is nice not having to worry about duty and obligation.

I didn't recognize it. Which might not necessarily a bad thing, if you were in danger back home. [because a title would connote assassins, or at least people who might wish her harm, Sayaka thinks]

Oh, no, I wasn't in danger. At least not that I was aware of.

Though I imagine it would make for quite a story. I wanted to be sure of where I was first.

I was...deeply confused. [being dead and back in a spindly human body and all that nonsense. y e p.] A lot's happened since then.

Several people from my world are here and have been for several months, so I hope you are right.

They'd be better than me at understanding what you could need, anyway.

Don't mention it. Just don't be too surprised if your name still leads to mixups.
