[Phoebe sighs softly as she slowly wakes up, moving to brush the hair out of her face...

Only to find that most of it was suspiciously missing. Eyes darting open she runs her fingers through her now short hair.]

What the... [Her hair hasn't been this short since about a year before came to the castle. What the hell's going on he- OH GOD WHAT IS SHE WEARING?! Okay. Now she KNOWS something isn't right. She sure as hell didn't fall asleep wearing leather. Sitting up, she looks over at Peter and yelps in surprise.]

Peter?! Your hair!

[Wait... she's wearing different clothes and her hair's shorter. Peter's hair's grown overnight... this can only mean one thing. She looks around and speaks to the room at large (and, well, the journal laying open nearby)]

Alright castle. Very funny. Ve-ry funny. You can't just mess with us, you have to give us the ridiculous costumes to go along with it?! What? You didn't think I got enough of this back home?!

[With a frustrated groan she flops back down against the pillows, covering her face with her hands.]

[Peter looks at the story. He isn't very familiar with the girly fairy tales but he gives it a scan]

We're not going to follow this exactly, are we?

[She crosses to the door and gives it a tug, breathing a sigh of relief when it easily opens.]

[he does not mind the Fabio nickname. And at least they can get out]

Guess cutting my hair wouldn't do any good, if we're in a fairy tale.

[there are certainly worse people to be compared to. She turns around, scratching the back of her head]

[indeed. And his hair is just about as long by this point]

Maybe we should stick to the story. Rapunzel's hair isn't cut until the end.

[She nods, walking over and sliding her arms around his waist]

No. I just hope you don't get locked in a tower in the process.

[he chuckles, pulling her close and kissing her]

If I'm locked up with you, I think I'll live.

[She smiles against his lips]

I hope so. [She touches his cheek, a concerned look in her eyes] But that's not usually how the story goes...

[he can tell she's worried and he gets a little more serious]

However the story goes, we'll make it back to each other. You won't lose me.

[She nods]

We're stronger than anything this place could throw at us.

[She smiles slightly, though it's more one of reassurance and confidence than of mirth.]

And you know that I'll do everything in my power to rescue you, to keep you safe. No matter what happens.

I know. You're totally my hero.

[Her smile widens to a grin]

Hey. You've saved me, it's my turn to save you.

Okay. [he knows she is perfectly capable of doing it, and he really has no complaints]
