[Dictated and backdated to earlier today; in the background you can hear what sounds like water that's from the pool. Kinda weird huh? Well that's because someone woke up with a green fishtail while in the pool. Currently he's just hanging on the edge and talking into the journal. After the initial shock wore off, he is now just griping]

Okay what's going on with the castle now? Because this? This is just stupid. Absurdly stupid.

This better not last a week, come on! I am not sitting in a pool for a week! If you're going to do this to me, at least give me an interesting place to go!

Seriously, why does this place smell so funny? What do you people do to water, anyway?

[ She looked this up last time, though Zelos whining finally gets her to stop picking at the shirt she's wearing and wondering how in hell it keeps her decent while being so open and loose fitting. Ugh! Not her style at all! ]

Spike is just heading into the pool room now, glancing about in concern]

[I DO NOT NEED RESCUING. He looks over when he thinks he hears Spike's voice, shrugging. At least he's past the freaking out stage of this and now is just firmly "this is stupid and lame" chillness]

Oh hey lil bro. I'm as fine as anyone who woke up in a pool without legs would be.

[ Sakura, who has seated herself on a chair by the pool, rolls her eyes and waits to see what Zelos will do to the poor little...

... wow man she missed dragons and she didn't realize how much until now. She leans forward, chin cradled in her hand, watching Spike. ]

[ Sakura seems to find that amusing, lips curling up into smile as she turns away and starts laughing. Nice that it's quiet, huh? ]

Do you normally not have any legs? Because I was working under the assumption that you had perfectly working legs.

[ She shrugs, walking a bit down the line of the pool and sitting down, crossing her legs since she's wearing shoes. Whatever was going on... well, she could figure it meant she was also screwed over. Was she a mermaid keeper for the week? Zelos was complaining now, but he had no idea how it really got when you were left finned for long enough.

Sakura considers him, deciding then and there... she is so not responsible for helping him comb out his hair. ]

[Hey, Zelos is his bro and will never harm him, thus is what Spike believes forever. He realises someone is watching and turns to offer her a smile and a little wave.

Because, you know, he's the most ferocious dragon in existence]

[ Wee bitty purple dragon you are adorable. Sakura smiles and waves in return, then gestures for him to go on, don't let her interrupt! It's his heroic moment! ]

[HAHAHAHA. He'll...flap his tail a bit over the water to give a wave]

[HE WILL HANDLE HIS OWN HAIR THANK YOU VERY MUCH. He meanwhile sighs and pushes away from the edge to backstroke swim, testing out the fin and staring up at the ceiling. He's probably better than he was this morning, but it's still kinda clumsy]

[After a moment, he'll swim over to her. Sorry you don't get to be left alone]

So where are they? Legs don't just get up and walk away without bodies attached to them.

[ Sakura looks off toward the ceiling, having watched him swim around. It's really fascinating when she thought about it, the way the physiology of a mermaid worked. Nice to be observing from a position where she wasn't one of the specimens herself.

Why was she here? Details were anyone's guess. She gestured around broadly -- the castle -- and then gestures to him in specific. The castle, or tied to him.

Hey, easy enough to blame him, too, right? It's not sincere, if she does suspect that whatever the hell this is about has something to do with playing off people in pairs. Granted, that was based on reading a few other examples of people stranded together in costume. ]

We're out to win the extreme costuming contest. Ready for it?
