I know I said I was pretty awesome magician-but I guess I can't expect you all to believe me, can I? So in light of this I've found a room spacious enough to give you all an awesome show. All of my magic is sleight of hand and nothing you see tonight is accomplished with the real thing.

Now, obviously, I can't go showing off my skills for free so Children and Cute Girls get in free and for everyone else? The price of admission will cost you one chocolate bar. The show's on Saturday in the evening at seven. [ Insert room location here ]

[ Just as Kaito said, he's in the lobby practicing a few simple tricks. He did say this was only a preview so he won't be doing anything he thinks is extravagant. Things like making doves appear, card tricks, making flowers appear, and several other tricks. ]

[ The dove remins unmoved and stubbornly sits there on Conan's head while watching its master expectantly until Kaito taps his shoulder and the bird obediently flies to his shoulder and nuzzles his cheek. ]

Kaito Kuroba. [ He says innocently as though he has no idea what Conan's getting at. Inside though, he's smirking hard as he knows exactly what's caught the detective's attention. ]

[Conan scowls at him, fairly certain what he was thinking. He was not pleased by this turn of events.]

Keep your magic tricks to yourself. I'm not interested.

[Not that he expected the warning to do any good.]

Ah... Sorry, it was a mistake. It won't happen again. [ He says sheepishly, gently stroking the dove's feathers. ]

I'm sure. [Can you hear how annoyed he is?]

Hey, don't be so bitter. Little kids should smile.

[ If that weren't enough to tick Conan off Kaito is holding out a red sucker for him that-he probably had up his sleeve. No worries! It's completely sealed. ]

[ ...Why does Kaitou Kid have candy up his sleeve you ask? ]

[ Why wouldn't he have candy up his sleeve? ]

[Conan just puts all of his irritation and incredulousness at this moment into one expression. And doesn't take the candy.]

...Ne, Kaito-niichan I don't think I'm supposed to take candy from strangers.

Oi. Do you think I would poison my own supply of candy?

How should I know? I'm just a kid, after all.

[ Yeah, he's completely ignoring that obvious lie as he tears the wrapper off and shoves the sucker in his mouth. ]

I wonder which one of us looks more like a kid right now?

I nev'r claim'd to be an adult you know. [ ...he is speaking around the sucker. ] I'm o'ly seventeen so I'm all'wed to act like this.

[ Oh, he caught that. Of course he did. But he won't draw attention to it, just continue to play innocent. ]
