…Well not really. Actually it’s not a princess at all. It’s Dairine. However, she certainly looks the part today. Her normal clothes have been switched with a long velvet gown, soft and green. On one wrist is an emerald bracelet held together with glowing strings of the Speech. And is that a tiara on her head?

With a sigh, Dairine’s eyes flutter open. …Odd. This isn’t where she went to bed last night. She moves to push herself up—when she notices the change in her attire. There’s a loud yelp as Dairine jolts awake, her hands moving subconsciously to where her necklace should be.

Nothing.]

[Bucky is wandering into the lobby in the morning, as usual, and sees her on the couch. He actually has to get closer to figure out it is Dairine. She's still asleep, so he gently grabs her shoulder and shakes her.]

Dair, wake up.

Nnnm. [She mutters, rolling over in her sleep. Go awaaaay.]

[Galadriel arrives while Dairine is still asleep. And, oh, isn't this a charming sight? She'll simply bend over and remove the tiara from her head, setting it on a nearby table, and take the opportunity to brush the hair away from Dairine's face. Sweet, silly child.]

Dair, you have to wake up. You're in the lobby, wearing a tiara and a green dress. [He has a sneaking suspicion this is a loss.]

[Renee walks in just in time to hear her yelp and turns her attention towards the sound.]

[Carson likes to wander as he reads, and he wanders into the lobby, working on what seems to be a translation.

And he pauses to examine Dairine.]

[Alan's made his way down to the lobby, on his way to the kitchen to make himself some breakfast. He's not much of a fan of wishing for food unless he's in the middle of his work, in which case he only stops for the occasional snack - probably popcorn. Code monkey's habit.

That's when he sees Dairine there, all dressed up on the couch. He actually does a double-take at first, not realizing it's her until the second glance.]

Dairine..?

[Dairine shifts in her sleep, murmuring slightly. Why isn't her mattress as soft as before? :c]

And then jolts awake.] WHAT?!

[She probably should wake the girl up, shouldn't she? As tempting as it is to just let her sleep, Galadriel just places a hand on Dairine's shoulder.]

Dairine? [It's spoken softly, almost a whisper]

Why? It's only a costume, isn't it?

[Felix almost walks past her before he recognizes the young wizard, and then abruptly stops, turning on his heel, blinking at her]

Was there a ball scheduled that I wasn't invited to?

[Dairine sits up quickly, looking down at herself in shock. This is...!]

...Dair? [Bucky's trying to process this. Give him a moment.] Stop panicking for a moment. [he grabs her shoulders.] Panicking won't help anything.

[Dairine is a little preoccupied with panicking looking over her transformation, and thus doesn’t notice Renee until she starts talking.]

Wha...? [Who is she…? Oh.] No no! I'm not a princess at all!

Then what's with the...[She motions towards the gown and the tiara.]

It's a little too soon to be busting out the Halloween costume.

[She gives the girl's shoulder a slight shake.] I would let you sleep, dear one, but you are not, I think, where you last found yourself.
