[He walks over and peeks over her shoulder]
Yuri?
Yuri?
[Eleven has some of his skirts bundled in one of his hands as he walks. He's very distracted, looking at everything around them, trying to figure out their next step.]
[speaking of hair, Peter's is seriously getting out of hand. By this point it's gotten down to his waist. Right now he's more focused on the journal, though, and getting a message across to Phoebe.
All of a sudden he breaks out into spontaneous singing with no discernable music source]
What can I say
How do I tell her
All that's happened here?
I try to be brave
Keep telling myself
That she may be near
Can't believe I'm back in another dream
Somewhere far away
Separated from the one I love
For two entire days
[he pauses, realizing what he just did] And now I'm singing.

[she's standing on her hindlegs, forelegs resting against the wall of the maze, and wings outstretched for balance. She's looking up at the (seemingly) open sky, wondering if it's worth it to check on the invisible glass ceiling when it's more likely that she'll just get a bump on the noggin for her trouble.]
[and have a pretty princess in pink as she stares at this guy who just burst into song.]
Singing better not be contagious.
Singing better not be contagious.
[this whole thing basically exists to make Peter as girly as possible. With the long hair, the poofy clothes and now the singing]
Only on April first, usually.

[oh right. Don't want to smash the kiddo against the invisible ceiling.
There's a sigh, and she pushes off the wall and goes back to standing solidly on all four hooves. Wings flap a couple of times before settling snug against her sides.]
My apologies. It seems as if there is little to do but to follow the path laid out for us. [stupid castle]

A bit late for a joke. [hopefully
Dryly:] I guess it's better if everybody is humiliated, rather than just one person. [there's a faint smile] Though it looks like I got off easy.
[her hair is still its normal length and at least she hasn't felt the urge to sing anything yet]

[there's an unexpectedly dark laugh]
I do hope that thou wilt "leave some for me," as 'twere.

[...dammit.
A sigh.] Can we not pretend 'tis an evil library that deserves to be leveled?

[he raises an eyebrow at her] We're all in a fairy tale. I don't think anybody's going to be let off easy.
[siiigh. She wasn't exactly serious about it in the first place, but well. It's a conversation, and the maze is boring. Might as well go along with it.]
Whyever not, Twilight Sparkle?
[she holds up a hoof] For this hypothetical scenario, we shall say that the following assumptions are, in fact, true: there will not be a logistical nightmare in which we will have to find food and shelter for at least three hundred ponies overnight, nopony will become injured or worse, and the castle itself will not perform some act of retribution after the fact.

I'm not a guy in a dress.
Though I guess I shouldn't be getting too optimistic. [wryly. She's normally the least optimistic of them all.] The castle'll probably deliberately squash it out of me.

[... Well that was something they should all pretend didn't happen. And Spike thought Peter was the more normal guy.
Not commenting, but he's getting a dread-filled stare from the sidelines. It just keeps adding up.]

Yeah, I at least got out of that one. [the poofy clothes are poofy but at least he's wearing pants]
