[Humans sleep at night, right? It seemed like the best time to try leaving his room, at least, considering from what he'd seen most of the residents here weren't nocturnal, or so he thought.

He's going to open his door slowly, leaning out of his room and examining the hallway outside; all clear from what he could tell, soooo he'll step outside as quickly as he can without making any noise and head downstairs.

Mainly because with everything going on, he was too caught up in his own stuff to remember you could wish for stuff here, namely food, resulting in his hunger finally getting to him.

Then once he finally gets to the kitchen, he's totally raiding everything. If he picks up something he doesn't like, he'll just put it back and keep looking, otherwise he'll finish whatever the hell it was he picked up cause it was more than likely delicious.]

[ooc: because being able to avoid your loss by hanging around in your room is lame, I'm throwing him on out there. Hallways on the way down or the kitchen itself, your choice, but this troll clearly needs to be bothered in the most awkward situation ever]

[Cough, awkward. He'll come over to the table too after a few minutes with a plate, which just has an assortment of...well, a bunch of completely random foods you'd never see grouped together normally.

Kinda nocturnal on my part, but uh...don't really spend much a' my fuckin' time here, only when I have to.

[He gives the plate a curious glance but doesn't comment. He's not the best person to comment on another's eating skills when he'd be satisfied with a bag of chips and a bowl of popcorn.]

I don't sleep much. And when I do, it's never for long. Hanging out in here beats staring at the ceiling until the sun rises.

[He'll pick up a bread roll from his plate, take a bite and start speaking while he's chewing.]

That's what I do. I got a bit of a fuckin' fascination for shit like military history an' whatever the fuck, so it kills a few hours.

Hey, I have hobbies! It's just some of them can get a little noisy. And it's not like I usually spend all night lurking in here.

I haven't actually checked out the library yet. Maybe I should try that.

Yeah it's one a the actually useful things here.

Earth military stuff is really primitive but I guess that's the whole point a' it bein' history in the first place.

Still interestin' enough to kill a few hours.

Are there books in there about some of the other worlds? I mean, military stuff can be great sometimes, but it isn't a topic that inspires me to read.

Well, there were books on alternian military stuff there so I'm guessin'. It was all shit I'd already read though.

I haven't checked out anythin' else aside that. You'll have to go check yourself.

[He gives the plate a glance over and picks a few things up to munch on. That changes the focus of the conversation for all five seconds.]

So you're hiding from someone? I don't know why you think telling me your name would be a big deal. You think my life is so boring that I'd announce you where in the kitchen in the middle of the night to the entire castle?
