[Spike has just been kind of... existing... following along for lack of anything else to do. It really is like one long dream.

Which is about when he falls behind and decides to take another nap. It doesn't matter if he's awake or not at this point; reality is so strange that he's having a hard time motivating himself to finding his way back. They could all disappear at any moment and he'd probably be alright with it, if not for one thing.

But for now, he's sleeping through as much of this as he can.]
