THE TOWER

[Hey princes you'll be hearing a different voice today]

Can you hear me? Am I reaching you?

My name is Momoka, I've been guiding your friends. I've unlocked your powers- please, head to the tower right away! There you will find the Witch and your answers! There you will find... the truth of the Golden Egg.

[and she's gone.

The tower in question now has a door. Proceed?]

Our ... powers? [CLU frowns, looking around] Which tower? There's more than one.

Powers? Now we're talking. Castle? Broom!

[One appears in her hand. She doesn't waste any time sweeping it right above the ground until the power builds and it leaps in her hand. She hops on and flies straight for the tower. If there's a window near the top she'll be heading for that.]

[She doesn't care that she can't fight. She doesn't care that all she's got is a fucking baseball bat. All she knows is Mark is in that tower and there's nothing that could keep her from going to him. Bat in hand, she's racing for that tower as fast as her feet can carry her ]

[Everyone else seemed to be racing ahead, and Vicious was content to let them. For all they knew, they were heading straight into a trap, after all.

Besides, eagerness was unbecoming, and he was sure his 'princess' could take care of himself for a few minutes longer while he walked into the tower at a more leisurely pace.]

[who needs powers when they've been waiting FAR! TOO! LONG! for this?

Kiyohime's name lies on the tip of her tongue. The urge to call forth her Child and tear the tower down, against her better judgment is stronger with every passing moment, but while the other "princes" were a great help in this...quest of sorts, she still refrains from doing so -- not yet. This is not the time.

Shizuru runs, the fastest she's moved in ages, willing herself to keep her head in the game]

THE DOOR

[There's a new door in the room you Princesses have been left in. It's different from all the others- much larger, and it has Dream's End written on it.

Momoka inspects it.]

This is it. The final door.

[Beyond you can... hear thing.]

But it won't open just yet...

[FINALLY... except not, apparently. Oh for the days he could kick doors in...]

What's it waiting for this time?

[He can be the one to speak up sometimes! Apparently he's gotten antsy somewhere along the way.]

[calm is certainly not a word in her repertoire at the moment. She's pacing up and down, dark countenance even darker - somehow. There would be roiling thunderheads up above, if, you know, this wasn't a dreamworld and if they weren't cut off from their powers.]

[Zelos is in the back of the group, totally paying attention. Except you know where he isn't. He instead has discovered the greatest part of being in a dreamland- no more feet pain. So he is checking out this wondrous new discovery by doing stuff like hopping around on his feet, dancing and twirling to make his skirt swoosh. He still can't talk, so it's really hard to tell why the hell he seems so happy and fascinated by this, or more so than whatever is going on with the door.]

[Then again maybe mermaids are just weird.]

[The witch? Well have another witch staring you down, lady. She's crouched slightly in a fighting stance as she waits to see what she's going to do]

What's the deal, here? You send us on a crazy scavenger hunt and, what? Now we get to face off to see who's more intimidating? I've played this game too many times. Why don't we just do things the easy way for once? Wake them up and get out of here.

[while everything is going on with the witch outside, all of it audible to the princesses, Momoka turns to them all]

THE TRUTH

[eventually a bright light engulfs the entire room as well as the dream world as the door opens. It is then that all the Princesses will find themselves awake.

Where the Witch previously stood, Momoka now stands, the Golden Egg now in her hands, brilliantly a lit as if it were on fire.]

This is it. Your Golden Egg.

[She won't be here much longer. If you've got any last questions, best ask them now]

[CLU reaches out for it, stopping short as he realizes that doing the wrong thing could lead to failure]

... so what do we do with it?

[and with that, the light, the Golden Egg and Momoka are all gone.

Where the witch had been, Himari lays unconscious, the hat and outfit both gone.

[Well, that was far too long in coming, as far as he was concerned. He might not have the obligations he once did, but he still can't help but feel his time was profoundly wasted by this nonsense.

Still, he'd better make sure Gren really is all right, because the idea of any of this ridiculousness having caused him harm was even more grating. Not that he was actually going to say anything of the sort. He'll just walk over, as unhurried as ever.]
