['voice'][ Hope that crash didn't startle anyone too much. It sounds like someone tripped over something metal, then fell and hit something else sturdy. Duke's only verbal reaction to this is a soft grunt of 'that hurt'. ]

[ Anyone heading past the fourth floor of the Satis Tower will find Duke half out of his doorway, holding his head. Judging by where he is - and what his hair is still on - he hit his head on the doornob. And the cause of this fall?

A set of armor sits like someone had shed it, not too far away from his feet. An armbrace sits innocently along one edge. Looks like someone found the castle's Christmas gift... with his feet. ]

Is everyone okay?

..... [ Just a pained noise. Duke clonked his head pretty bad, as far as he can tell through the headache. ]

[There's not a lot he can really go on with that, Duke.]

Where are you?

.... floor. [ So helpful. He seems to realize this after a moment. ]

Satis.

Satis tower, got it.

[Carson gathers up his medical kit, and starts to head towards the Satis tower. It takes about five minutes at a brisk jog.]

[ Duke is sitting against the wall by this time. Holding his head.

Headaches suck. ]

[atadiscoverer]

[And Carson makes an accurate guess that this is the guy.

He moves up to and sinks to a crouch.]

I'm Dr. Carson Beckett. Is everything okay? Nothing bleeding?

[He's got his Ancient scanner out, which is making some odd beeping noises at Duke. Odd for the blind guy, in any case.]

[ The beeping noises make him jump a bit. He hadn't noticed Carson approach, which is a little odd for him. Not that the guy might know that. ]

.... Just... hurts. [ Lies. He's got a nasty bump on his head. There might be a bit of blood, he just hasn't found it yet. Have fun figuring out if the blind guy has a concussion or not, because some of the signs won't apply.

His hands move to his ears, though. Duke doesn't appreciate that beeping. ]

[More scribbling.]

I think you've got a wee concussion.

[Just a few more minutes, there. He's nearly done.]

You've got some bleeding on the side, let me...

[He pulls out a dressing from his bag.]

..... ? [ Sorry, were you talking? He'd figured out the way to hold his hands over his ears so that very little sound got through. That beeping isn't something he liked hearing. Seems to be still there, irritatingly enough, by his expression.

Or was that ringing. ]

[The bad beeping's stopping, now. Carson's made his scans.]

I'm just going to bandage your head. You're bleeding a bit.

[Anddd Peeta heard that crash. He hurries to grab up the journal and speak into it.]

[ Don't mind Duke. He's removing and replacing a hand from one ear a bit confusedly. Yes, the beeping is gone, but... ]

... What is the ringing...

[ Have an oh so expressive short noise of pain back - then the sounds of a hand moving and maybe a tap or two on the page. ]

... Headache. [ Because he hit it on the door then the floor. But shhh. ]

Ringing?

[Carson takes out a tool used for examining the inside of an ear.]

I'm just going to take a wee look, see if there's any damage to your inner ear.

.... How would... [ Puzzled staring in Carson's general direction. He can't focus enough to check his own injuries with magic at the moment, so he just sits there. ]

Do you... do you need a healer? Or a doctor?

... would, by self, if could focus... [ He means that he's a healer, but the headache is preventing his focus.

Which probably means he should see one. ]
