You may have Noticed that the chIld by the name of EdoGawa has gone missing and, for some of you this isn't at all Surprising and more of an everyday occurRence. There's no cause tO worry as I have him safe and sound. The two of us have faced off enough that I feLt he would have had an Unfair advantage. For this reason he is to stay with me for a time.

Please disregArd a portion of this notice.

When evening dawns on the twelfth day of the stubborn month I shall make my appearance and steal your attention away long enough for the laws of physics to break once more.

[ True to his word Kaitou Kid makes it to the detective's room in fifteen minutes with his peace offering (read: A bowl of oranges.) Obviously, he couldn't just show up in hat and monocle so when he does get to the door he's wearing all black with his cap pulled down low over his eyes. ]

I have never seen a successful one. [And with the number of cases he'd run into that was saying something.] In all the cases I've seen it turned into a real case by the end.

Except you have the advantage over that seeing as you are the missing Conan Edogawa. But never mind that, what's done is done and I will divert attention off of you by leading people through hoops until you can revert back.

Yes, which is why I posted the notice. You can go a long with trying to solve it if you like, but I'm warning you now, you'll only be wasting your time. Now, once everyone realizes the truth of my notice, they're going to be pretty angry so the cover story is that I was drawing attention away from Conan-kun so he could follow a lead, but unfortunately it was a dead end. Yes, but by then everyone will be so mad at me they won't really remember-that is unless one of them figures out the truth behind the entire notice.

No, all I need to do is divert attention from the fact Kudo Shinichi shows up around the same time Edogawa Conan disappears. By the time I've finished with those stubborn enough to follow me through to the very end that vital piece of information will have slipped from their heads.
