I've already had this conversation a hundred times. You'll think it's odd that I'm apathetic about it, I'll say that I'm just an unusual person that way.

But if you don't want to talk about it, you could just say so. Nicely.

"I don't want to talk about it" makes it sound like I'm hiding some emotional trauma I don't feel like digging up. And I'd rather not be misleading. "That's boring" is very to-the-point.
