Dictated
You know, I was thinking last month about the fact that I have been here long enough that I have had two birthdays, even though it hasn't technically been a full two years yet. But you know, I don't think this place is so bad most of the time. What's really hard is how my friends from home keep coming and going, and how it seems like they are gone more often than they are here most of the time.
And what's even worse is when the people that aren't from my home end up going back to their's. I know a lot of people want to go back, so it's pretty selfish to want them to stay for a little longer, but it'd be really nice if people weren't so easy to lose here.
Or at the very least if there was some way to keep contact with them after they go home. Like if we could somehow make inter-dimensional telephones or something.

[When he starts talking about people going back home, all she can think about is the last thing she saw before getting pulled into Paradisa, and how John still doesn't know.]
I'm sorry. She never seems to stay here for very long.
