[good morning, Paradisa. when everyone's journals jumped into their hands, this particular Ghostbuster was asleep ... so he woke up with a journal tucked under his arm instead of his stuffed Mr. Stay Puft. now that he's over the initial confusion, he's perusing the new transcriptions in the library, with a big mug of cocoa]

I know a lotta people are talking about this, so I'm sorry if this is beating a dead horse - no offense, Equestrians, oops - but the PKE reading on my journal is just the same as it was yesterday, and the baseline castle energy levels are the same. From a strictly statistical point of view, it doesn't look like we're in any trouble. It's just that we've lost old data... but knowing Paradisa, that'll turn up eventually, anyway. I'm in the library right now, if anyone wants to come and help me look....

Really? .... Huh! So d'you think that means everyone's journal is around here, somewhere, but we just gotta find it?

I certainly hope so. It wouldn't exactly be fair for some people to still retain their journals while others lost theirs forever.

[Not that the castle has demonstrated much of a tendency towards fairness.]

Have you noticed any other odd changes around the place? I was gifted something from home, which I am told can happen around Christmas sometimes.

Well, no, everyone should be able to keep their memories and stuff.

[he immediately perks up at the mention of the gift, though] Yeah! I got a vat of the Van Horne station mood slime! I told you about that stuff, right? You gotta come see it, it's fantastic!

A vat of the Van Horne station mood slime? No, I don't believe that you did. What does it do? It sounds like something I'd very much like to see.

It's basically mood-sensitive ectoplasm that reacts to hyperemotional states... and can transfer them on contact if there's enough slime present. We've depossessed people with positive mood slime on a few occasions, it's pretty great. .... Really messy, though. I think I had to take about five showers before I got it off, both times I got drenched with the stuff. There was a whole river of it flowing underground through the old Van Horne pneumatic transit station.

It sounds like a very interesting substance. I've collected ectoplasm before for study and various excretions from demons we were investigating and hunting down, but this sounds like it has quite beneficial properties.

Yeah, it really does - then again, being able to study ectoplasm in general is a beneficial thing, too. It's all in how you look at it.
