So, uh...

[Getting used to speaking over the magic book was something Clint has taken in his stride.]

Apart from sitting around and doing nothing, is there anything to do? I'm, uh, not one for reading, and there's only so much training a man can do before that gets mundane.

Guess I'm just used to always being active. Suggestions would be welcome.

[Either way, Agent Clint Barton is walking down to the shooting range with a flight case in his hand containing his compound bow and quiver of new arrows. He figures it wouldn't be a good idea to be wandering around with them out in the open, not after his arrival. Someone might think to take revenge.]

A wise idea. I can't sit idle myself, I always like doing something. Be it horse riding or going to the range.

Well, you wouldn't want me thinking. Might make more trouble than I already have.

You mean you've got into trouble already today? Or is this because of what happened after your arrival?

I dunno. I think I pissed off a group of people somehow. Probably after the stunt in the lobby.

Well, you did have an arrow pointed in their direction. [A beat.] If you just explain, I'm sure they'd understand.

Maybe. They seem like the types to blow things outta proportion, though.

This place sets people on edge most of the time. Only takes one little thing to annoy them.

Yeah, I got that.

[A sigh]

This place makes where I'm from seem simple.

Defending a city is much more simple than here?

Well, yeah. You know what you have to do.

I see. So, are you a super hero or something? Or more like an agent.

[A snort of laughter, there.]

I'm not a superhero. I've worked with them, and there is no way I'd ever be considered one.

[That prompts an eyebrow raise.]

Someone who gets the job done.
