Sort of. The Castle is magic. The TARDIS is science.

Some of the science I've seen here is pretty indistinguishable from some of the magic.

But science is the known. There are proven theories and equations and someone can figure it out. Magic is unknown. It works because it does.

I don't know - one of my friends here seems to have a pretty good handle on how magic works. She says she studied it in school before she showed up here.
