The Fortieth Day
[A few days ago, Shiki Misaki woke up to find not one baby in her room, but two.
Two.
Her child from last year was back, a year older and now able to do things like call her "Mommy", and she was so very happy to have Shigure there with her again. But now there was someone new as well - a girl child that Shiki had named "Eri" after one of her best friends from home.
The special thing about Eri was that she wasn't entirely human. She had Shiki's eyes and complexion - the real Shiki's eyes and complexion, too, not the ones that she wore here - but she also had longer, coarser, blacker hair than Shiki's, and a pair of small curly fry-looking troll horns on the top of her head.
This wasn't a problem for Shiki, not at all, no sir! Well, except that she was a 15 year old girl, and even she only had so much energy, and that much energy was not enough for dealing with two, very young children, one of whom wasn't even fully human.
She tried to keep it together and be a strong, capable mother all on her own, but finally she had to put out a call to the castle.]
I-Is anybody free to babysit? Like, at all? Just for a few hours, while I take a short nap...
...Particularly if you have experience dealing with troll children, or you are a troll yourself, I could really, seriously use your help right now.
Please?
((ooc: Open like an open thing! Shigure is all Shiki's, and Eri is Shiki and Aradia's... although, at first she will think that it's the child that she and Equius would have had, since he left and all. Have fun with her!))

Oh. Yeah, this is mine and Sollux's grub that we got last year. He wasn't this fat back then, though. [Seriously, he's pretty fat. And orange, and squirmy, and toothy. She squeezes him lightly and he squeaks in protest.]
