[She might have missed the beach yesterday, but that's not stopping Katherine from enjoying some personal time. If you happen upon her, she has a small basket tucked over her arm, filled with fresh fruit, a bottle of water, and her journal. Her other arm carries a wooden chair and a towel. Dressed in hardly anything, she figures all of the "Mom" that's in the air, everyone might not mind her wandering around in a two-piece (pretend the suit is black...). Plus, it's nice out. She should be able to enjoy some peace and quiet.
She'll set up her chair right in the grass on the front lawn of the castle, laying the towel down and lounging there. Every so often, as she flips the pages, she'll eat some fruit or drink some water.]
How many of you didn't end up with children? It seems a bit odd to suddenly increase the castle population overnight. I'd think it'd put a strain on whatever runs this place. Kids can be so demanding.
((ooc: feel free to run into her in the lobby, see her outside, or talk to her over the journal.))

You know, I am trying to start up a school here. Something to try and get the residents to be able to better protect themselves - to be more educated on those that are here, that could show up -- about the castle itself, too.
That might not be a bad idea. Trying to just get people actually studying the patterns and habits of the castle. [Which, technically, Oliver has been doing but I can't get my two characters to imply that much stuff...]

I didn't get one either. Sometimes the castle is smarter than it seems.

Oh, I'm sure you would've been fine with a little one running circles around you.

[probably because the oldest of the kids would be nearly half her age, and there are not enough "what"s in the world for that]

[not as if she has much to return to, anyway]
