[He nods his head a bit and then smiles slightly at the little girl. Someone her age might have been a little easier for someone not used to babies, but Konoe had done his best to care for the kitten.]

[This is still pretty amazing to Konoe. A living child, a female, and a Hu Man in one. It was like all that was lost in his world was coming together in one being.
When he child looks at Shui, Konoe gently rubs the little kitten's tiny ears and seems so proud.]
