[If any of you happen to wander outside today, you'll probably catch sight of a well dressed male just outside one of Paradisa's entrances, looking through the viewfinder of a neat looking camera hanging from his neck.
The viewfinder itself is located at the top of the camera, so he doesn't have to lift it up to look through it, but rather, keeps his head bowed and stares through it, turning every so often as he surveys the new landscape he's found himself in.
If, however, amidst the scenery he catches sight of a person, he'll quickly snap a shot of them through his camera, the loud CLICK noise it creates making it readily apparent you've just had your photograph taken, without warning.
What do you do?]

Action/written
'What exactly is that and what is its purpose?'

[He'll lift his head, catching sight of the approaching male through his camera. He's just a little surprised by the fact he's communicating by writing, but he's seen stranger things.]
It's called a camera. I'm assuming you don't have them here?
no subject
[You pointed it at him and that's worrisome to him if it's dangerous.]
no subject
[Oh, wait, guy probably doesn't know what they are either.]
Which are like instant and super realistic paintings, in a sense. If you don't get it still, I'm afraid I can't simplify it any more than that.
no subject
[Don't mind him looking it over.]

You can try it if you're that curious. Just wind the dial on the side, then look through the little hole on the top of the camera. You'll see what it's focused on through that.
Then it's just a case of point it at something, and hit that little button there.
[Gesturing towards it with his free hand.]

Jade held it up to point it at the man and clicked the small button as instructed. Hearing the click he'd heard before, he assumed it worked. After taking one more picture of a... tree, Jade handed it back and wrote in the journal.]
'And you can view these later?'

Hey. Usually people don't like having their picture taken without their permission.

Thanks for that image, really.

You're the first person I've met who knows what a camera is, though. Most of these people act like I'm stealing their soul.

[Cheh.]
Noone here is going to freak out if I make fire without sticks, are they?

He looks up at that snap.]
Hm?

But the helmet is all wrong, so no assumptions here.
Still, Tsukasa won't say much. He'll keep his eyes on the viewfinder for a moment, before raising his head and just staring back.
Problem?]
no subject
[Just more silent staring for a minute.]
Y'know, people don't often like being spied on.
[Not that Tsukasa was doing a good job at hiding the fact he was taking photos. And that Jorge's tone signifies that he doesn't give a damn.]
no subject
[He'll start walking towards Noble Five, his own expression indicating he gives as much a damn about this as Jorge does.]
I am pretty surprised though; your armor is pretty high tech, yet I've been told this world doesn't have cameras.
[He world jumps every second day or so back home, usually not by his own volition either; so he thinks he's just been thrown onto some world this time that is either underdeveloped, or has terrible priorities when it comes to developing its technology.]
no subject
[He regards Tsukasa a bit more curiously, head tilting slightly.]
You new here?
no subject
That's right. I only arrived here today.

[Action~]
If I'd known today was for the yearbook photo I'd have bothered to brush my hair this morning.
forever~
[Looking up from his camera.]
I'll file this under the 'was having an off day' category.
Though some people are convinced the camera doesn't lie.
Woo~
Oh, camera's lie plenty.
[As a detective this is something Dick is well-versed in, although again, perhaps not as well-versed as his brother. After all, that was how Tim had come into their lives, wasn't it? Through photographs.]
Angles, trick shots, that sort of thing.
no subject
Other people might not though. If they're especially stubborn they might not listen either.
There's probably nothing I can do.
[yep totally not serious over here]
Looks like this bad photograph will just have to tarnish your record for the rest of your days. What a shame.
no subject
Burn it. I'm surprised I didn't break your camera.
no subject
Unfortunately all I could do this time around was save my camera from exploding. I had no energy left to save your photograph.
